Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula sponsors neutering activity for pets
Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula wants to put a stop to the practice of abandoning or throwing away unwanted pets.
To address the problem of stray animals, Gacula teamed up with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society for the TAYTAY KAPON: Solusyon, Hindi Tapon activity on November 28 where owners can have their pets neutered.
In a Facebook post, Gacula said the service would be free but owners have to register for the limited slots.
He said it is the responsibility of owners to have their pets neutered so that they would not be saddled with unwanted animals.
