Laguna Vice Gov. Karen Agapay laments IATF decision to place Laguna under MECQ anew
Laguna Vice Gov. Karen Agapay is worried over the fact that many businesses in the province have been shuttered since August 1.
Agapay is not happy that Laguna will continue to be under modified enhanced community quarantine as announced by the pandemic task force.
In a Facebook post, she said that many establishments, including personal care services, have been unable to operate since August, and people cannot go on for much longer without income.
Those who received assistance have already spent all of it by now, she said.
She appealed to the task force to think of the people forced to be jobless because of the stricter quarantine level.
People are running out of options, she said.
Please consider their concerns!
