Pakil in the running for most business-friendly town award, says Mayor Vince Soriano
Mayor Vince Soriano is rejoicing over the good news that Pakil is considered a town where it is easy to do business.
In fact, it is in the running for the award of most business friendly municipality, which will be given by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In a Facebook post, Soriano said he received a letter from PCCI informing him that Pakil is in the final judging for the award, which will be given on October 8.
It is the only town from Laguna in contention for this recognition, he said.
He noted that recently, the Department of Trade and Industry recognized Pakil as the second most efficient municipality in the country.
These developments just show that Pakil is competitive at the national level when it comes to business and industry, he said.
Pakil is on the way up!
#GanitoNaTayoSaPakil,” Soriano posted.
