Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat laments lack of hospital beds for COVID-19 patients
Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat is feeling the effects of the increase in COVID-19 patients.
Salamat said on Facebook that it has become harder to look for hospitals that could take in COVID-19 patients from his town.
He said he and his staff knock on hospitals’ doors everyday, but many of them are full.
And when patients do get into hospitals, they have to contend with huge bills, he said.
He advised people to avoid getting sick by staying home as much as possible and being extra careful.
It’s not easy in these circumstances, but his office will always try to help!
