Magallanes Mayor Jasmin Maligaya-Bautista shuts down rural health unit office until further notice
The spread of COVID-19 has temporarily shuttered Magallanes’ rural health unit.
In a Facebook post, Magallanes Mayor Jasmin Maligaya-Bautista said the RHU would be closed beginning August 16 while it is being disinfected and its nurses are under quarantine.
This means it would not be able to provide any health services.
Only the town’s vaccination drive would continue, the mayor said.
The RHU has not been spared from COVID-19 problems!
