Sta. Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas is touched that senior citizens want to get vaccinated

May 11, 2021 @ 11:08

Sta. Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas wants to make sure that senior citizens in her city are protected against COVID 19.

This is why Arcillas was very happy that it has finally been able to begin vaccinating those in the A2 category, or senior citizens, she said in a Facebook post.

She said she was touched that the elderly residents have shown up for the mass immunization drive and know the importance of being protected against the coronavirus disease.

She apologized that the vaccines for the city are still limited, and said she was still waiting for the doses that she had ordered.

But she is glad that the national government has provided the city with some doses.

At least when more doses arrive, she can be sure that there will be many takers for these!

I am truly so happy (though not fully bec I want vaccination to be as fast as our “cash ayuda for all” distribution), that we finally get to start vaccination roll-out for our A2 category or senior citizens this week.

Though A1 not fully done but still I am so touched to see that our Seniors are acceptable of being inoculated, knowing the importance of being protected.

Sorry for the limited vaccines as the City is still waiting for the vaccines we ordered. But still thankful the Natl govt is giving us some. ?

#ABA? #tatakARCILLAS #vaccinationsportscomplexbyCHO1 #lifeisprecious❤️ #wehealasone???,” Arcillas posted.
