Paano na sa Agosto? Danny Suarez discusses plans for school opening with Deped officials
With the opening of classes just two months away, Quezon Governor Danilo Suarez wants to make sure schools are prepared for the “new normal” in learning.
Suarez recently met with local officials of the Department of Education (DepEd) to discuss the Learning Continuity Plan for students.
Among the education officials present in the meeting was Schools Division Superintendent Catherine P. Talavera.
In a Facebook post, Suarez said it was important to prepare in advance for the opening of classes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Isa ang sektor ng edukasyon ngayon sa may malaking hamong kinakaharap bunsod ng COVID-19 kung kaya naman nagkaroon tayo ng pagpupulong kasama ang DepEd Quezon,” he said.
