Kakosa! Jinggoy into stress eating while Bong focused on exercise during Crame detention

BACOOR CITY – Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) guest candidate former Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. recently revealed that fellow administration senatorial bet Jinggoy Estrada always had delicious meals during his three-year stay inside the Camp Crame Detention Center.
In his speech during Hugpong’s proclamation rally in his bailiwick in Bacoor City, Revilla disclosed that his “kosa” Estrada has resorted to “stress eating” inside his detention facility after they were arrested in 2014 over plunder and graft charges for allegedly earning hundreds of millions from their respective Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or Pork Barrel funds.
Revilla reminisced the time that while he and Estrada were in detention, it seems his best friend former Senate President Pro-Tempore have gained more weight due to frequent eating.
“Doon ko nakita yung tunay na puso ni Jinggoy Estrada. Napaka galing na tao, hinde niya ko pinabayaan. Problema lang, mahilig kumain to kaya masasarap yung pagkain niya,” Revilla told the crowd in jest while pointing to Estrada.
During HNP’s caravan in Taguig City last Monday, Estrada joked that while Revilla has been regularly doing fitness exercise while inside Camp Crame, he turned his attention to comfort eating.
“Itong ka-kosa (Revilla) ko noong nasa Crame kami, busy mag-ensayo. Ako naman tingnan niyo, naparami sa masasarap,” said Estrada.
In 2010, Estrada admitted that he underwent bariatric surgery—a procedure wherein the stomach is being reduce to its original size to curb one’s appetite.
Pork barrel scam whistleblower Benhur Luy in 2013 disclosed that the codename given by convicted Pork Barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles to Estrada was ‘sexy’ after he slimmed down following the said medical procedure.
Estrada allegedly earned millions worth of kickbacks from his Pork Barrel funds after channeling P172.8 million from his PDAF allocations between 2004 to 2010 in some of the foundations staged by Napoles.
Estrada is currently out on bail while Revilla was acquitted by the Sandiganbayan last December.
