Bravo Baras! Kathrine Robles gets brand new ambulance for winning Christmas tree contest
The municipality of Baras has a brand new ambulance after winning the provincial government’s search for the most creative Christmas trees made from recycled materials.
Mayor Kathrine Robles received the symbolic key to the ambulance last month in the awarding ceremony for the 2018 YES Recycled Christmas Tree contest.
Governor Nini Ynares was represented in the event by 2nd district board member Rommel Ayuson, Dr. Corazon Laserna of the Rizal Tourism Office and Tracy Tunque of the YES team.
They were joined by members of the Sangguniang Bayan led by Vice Mayor Wilfredo Robles, Department of Education officials and municipal employees.
The ambulance is expected to improve the transport of Baras residents in need of immediate medical attention.
