It’s been nine days since former Court of Appeals Justice Ricardo Puno Sr. passed away, but his sons are continuing to carry out his wishes.

In a Facebook post, former Antipolo Rep. Robbie Puno thanked all who sent messages, flowers, good thoughts, and prayers as they condoled with his family on the passing of his dad.

Puno said it was heartwarming to witness how many people loved and respected the family patriarch.

And while his father has passed on, he said the family has committed to carry out his command given at his deathbed through eldest brother Dong: build bridges to one another.

“9 days since Dad passed away. I would like to express my personal gratitude to all who texted, vibered, messaged and emailed their condolences, kept us in their thoughts and prayers, sent cards and flowers, visited my Dad’s wake, and attended Dad’s funeral. It was indeed heartwarming to see and feel how loved and respected Dad truly was.THANK YOU.As the family moves on, we choose to believe that at his deathbed Dad spoke to us through our eldest brother, Dong, and commanded us:BUILD BRIDGES TO ONE ANOTHER.YES, DAD,” Puno posted.
