Infanta Councilor LA Ruanto joins move to protect his vote for VP Leni Robredo

May 10, 2018 @ 12:54

Like other supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo, Infanta, Quezon Councilor LA Ruanto wants to protect his vote for her amid a challenge from former Senator Bongbong Marcos.

Ruanto joined the online movement to urge the Presidential Electoral Tribunal to maintain the 25 percent vote shading threshold in the ballots for the 2016 elections.

The move has Robredo’s supporters sharing photos of them wearing shades and adding the hasthag, #LeaveOurShadesAlone.

Ruanto shared his own photo in shades to make his stand that the PET should maintain the 25 percent shading implemented during the polls.

Their eyes may be behind dark glasses, but it is very clear where they stand!

“On the anniversary of Leni Gerona Robredo’s election as our duly elected Vice President, we reiterate our call: #LeaveOurShadesAlone! 25% ang ginamit nung eleksyon, dapat 25% pa rin ngayon!” Ruanto posted on Facebook.
