Actions on Bong Revilla’s SC petitions deferred
The decisions on former senator Bong Revilla’s petitions for certiorari, bail, and a temporary restraining order have been deferred by the Supreme Court (SC) en banc on February 6.
The Cavite politiko earlier asked the SC to grant him bail, to stop his plunder trial at the Sandiganbayan, and to scrap all the plunder charges against him.
Revilla was previously given by the Sandiganbayan’s First Division until February 15 to secure a TRO.
But because of Revilla’s failure to secure a TRO, his team forfeited four hearing dates.
Revilla will now need to present their evidence on March 6, unless they are further delays on the case.
