Biñan boasts of improved Business Permits and Licensing System
The Biñan City Government in Laguna under Mayor Arman Dimaguila Jr. wants to spare local folk from time and resource-consuming red tape.
In this regard, the local government unit has announced improvements to its Business Permits and Licensing System (BPLS).
This is done through the restructuring of the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) to adopt a system to assist their constituents through brief but efficient interaction, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) said Thursday, July 20.
Another improvement involves the expansion and promotion of business development with a heavy focus on permitting and licensing.
The LGU has also installed document reproduction kiosk with upgraded customer service as well as recopying machines manned by microbusiness operators of the city.
By placing the kiosks at various locations within the city hall, the LGU and the private business operators are able to quickly respond to the constituents’ needs.
