Bacoor City bags second Seal of Good Local Governance trophy
Bacoor City on Monday, November 14 received for the second consecutive year the prestigious Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award.
It was conferred by Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Calabarzon Regional Office.
Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla received the award from DILG Calabarzon Regional Director Manuel Gotis with the former mayor and now Bacoor City 2nd District Rep. Strike Revilla.
As an SGLG awardee, Bacoor City stands to receive P3.4 million pesos from the DILG Performance Challenge Fund.
The DILG SGLG Seal is conferred on local government units (LGUs) that meet standards and criteria on three core components on financial administration, social protection and disaster preparedness.
LGUs are also adjudged on three essential areas on business friendliness and competitiveness; peace and order and environmental management.
