Baguilat calls 2016 the ‘year of the shock’ with Duterte, Trump, Marcos

To say that current events bring surprise is an utter understatement.

Ifugao Rep. Teddy Baguilat, Jr. simply could not temper his feelings about the upsetting decision of the Supreme Court that paved the way for a hero’s burial for former President and dictator Ferdinand Marcos, coupled with the narrow victory of Republican Donald Trump.

This comes four months since the trash-talking Rodrigo Duterte assumed the Philippine presidency. Amid all the negativity and an apparent lack of morals, Baguilat said the fight must go on.
