Road to redemption: Espino clears name before PNP’s Bato

Vindication may be the sweetest thing for the Espinos of Pangasinan this time of the year. Governor Amado Espino received an award from the Philippine National Police for good gains made in terms of implementing the national government’s project double barrel against drugs.
This is a turnaround from a drug matrix presented by President Rodrigo Duterte, which found Espino’s son Rep. Amado Espino, Jr. in the drug trail that leads to former Justice secretary and now Senator Leila de Lima.
