Pangasinan politikos deny involvement in illegal drugs
The mayor and vice mayor of San Carlos City denied that they were involved in illegal drugs as contained in continuing text blasts even after the elections.
San Carlos City Mayor Joseres ‘Bogs’ Resuello said that they could only laugh at the allegation which has been linegering since the time when his father Jolly Resuello was still city mayor.
Mayor Bogs Resuello was a substitute candidate for vice mayor when his father was murdered during a barangay fiesta before the 2007 elections.
The mayor said that he himself had undertaken a drugs test last week together with PNP personnel and other city officials.
Mayor Bogs Resuello said denied rumors that they were nabbed in Manila or in some other parts of the country.
Mayor Bogs declared that he will personally for the arrest of drug pushers during the oath taking ceremony of elected city officials at the Arenas-Resuello sports Complex.
“Sasabihin ko sa inyo ako mismo ang magtatrabaho sa pagkahuli ninyo,” he said.
San Carlos City Vice Mayor Julier ‘Ayoy’ Resuello said that his political opponents have been recycling the illegal drugs allegation against him as the people continue to vote him into office.
He said that he is willing to take a drug test any time to prove his innocence.
