Sep 27, 2015 @ 10:47

Masantol Vice Mayor Alvin Ignacio is eyeing a seat in the provincial board of Pampanga in the 2016 elections.

Ignacio is one of the two candidates being considered to run under the banner of Nacionalista Party (NP) in the 4th District, aside from San Roque, Macabebe village chief Pol Balingit.

Ignacio ran and won in the 2013 elections under the local Kambilan party of Gov. Lilia Pineda.

The first-termer vice mayor said he wants to focus on programs for the youth such as educational scholarship.

“Gusto kong tutukan ‘yung mga scholarship program sa mga kabataan dahil sila ang susunod na mga future leaders,” Ignacio said in a Sunstar article.

He also vowed to give his all-out support to the projects of 4th District Rep. Juan Pablo “Rimpy” Bondoc.

“Unang-una ng dahil sa suporta ng ating Congressman Bondoc, makikisama tayo na tumulong sa kanya para sa ating mga Kabalen,” Ignacio said.
