Legazpi Mayor Rosal supports Mar Roxas all the way

Aug 20, 2015 @ 1:18

Legazpi City Mayor Noel Rosal has pledged the entire Albay city’s support to presidential contender Mar Roxas.

Rosal, a member of the Liberal Party (LP), described Roxas as the “right man” to replace President Aquino due to his “strong ability to manage the government with integrity and honesty,” the Philippine News Agency (PNA) reported.

Through the Daang Matuwid” (straight path) governance, the mayor said Legazpi became one of the recipients of the national government’s projects and programs.

Rosal said the city now has the biggest number of recipients of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in the entire Bicol region.

The Aquino administration has put up a Php2-billion flood control program with three pumping stations in Legazpi, according to Rosal.

”The civil works of this comprehensive urban drainage program and pumping stations are now in the finishing touches and it will be operational before the year ends, making Legazpi an all-weather city and a flood-free community,” Rosal said.

Last Tuesday, Rosal, joined by members of the city council and 70 village chairmen, attended a simple gathering attended by Roxas who graced the third death anniversary of the late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo in Naga City.
